Bagi masyarakat Aceh, tidak ada yang tidak kenal dengan jenis penganan yang berasal dari ketan yang dibungkus daun pisang dan di panggang ini. Rasanya yang manis nan gurih membuat kue Pulot panggang ini menjadi salah satu kue favorit bagi penikmat kopi kala pagi hari.
Bagi yang berdomisili di Banda Aceh, setiap pagi di kawasan Lampineung ada satu penjual Pulot Panggang yang berjualan di pinggir jalan. Harganya yang murah, dan rasanya yang nikmat membuat lidah serasa ingin mencicipi kembali kue Pulot panggang.
