These insects also include the usual insect species that are herbivorous insects from the suborder of Caelifera in the Orthoptera order. This insect has an antenna that is almost always shorter than its body and also has a short ovipositor. The sound produced by some locust species is usually produced by rubbing the rear femur against the front or stomach wing (called stridulation), or by flapping its wings while flying. The rear femur is generally long and strong which is suitable for jumping. But this kind of grasshopper sounds different from the usual insects that sound like the sound of people walking on the floor wearing high heels.
