Faberge eggs are beuatiful but very expensive especially the original ones.

A Fabergé egg (Russian: Яйца Фаберже́, yaytsa faberzhe) is a jeweled egg (possibly numbering as many as 69, of which 57 survive today) created by the House of Fabergé, in St. Petersburg, Imperial Russia. Virtually all were manufactured under the supervision of Peter Carl Fabergé between 1885 and 1917,[citation needed] the most famous being the 50 "Imperial" eggs, 43 of which survive, made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers.

Before my older brother married he was able to buy us 3 replica faberge eggs, my mom, my daughter and me. They were kind of pricey I think he got them from ebay.

I just realized they are over 25 years old now. The color has not faded but they are displayed on top of the piano so it is not as shiny but still has music ewhen we turn the knob. My mom chose the gold my daughter was into black so mine is the red which will be featured here.
