First, when a new branded product is produced, it a Seal Network chip will be attached to it. The network, powered by blockchain technology, will provide an immutable record of authentic products. When a consumer will buy a product, he or she will be able to scan the chip with the Seal Network app to authenticate any product. Consequently, consumers will have the power to verify when a product is genuinely from the manufacturer.

The Seal Network will also allow consumers to record ownership of a product. This ensures that if ever a merchant will try to sell a second-hand branded product as if it were new, the Seal Network would allow consumers to check that product is actually second hand. Additionally, if a merchant or p2p sale takes place for a second hand product, brands will be able to earn a small piece of the sale.

• Seal Network ensures consumers are protected against the possibility of purchasing knock-offs so they get the quality product they expect when buying a particular brand's products. It also adds authenticity to the secondary market of branded products by creating an immutable record of ownership.

• Seal Network allows brands to protect their brand's quality recognition from counterfeiters and to retain the sales that were intended for them. Additionally, it opens a new revenue channel for them by allowing them to earn a percent of the sale within the secondary market.
