Ethereum loses ground against the competition

Known as a fierce opponent of Bitcoin, Ethereum is a crypto platform that has distinguished itself over the years by its decentralized smart applications. However, as it evolved, other parallel products took the lead, like TRON or EOS, which also offers dApps, in a more fluid way. Currently, the boss of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, recognizes the advance acquired by these new platforms but it does not necessarily introduce the end of Ethereum, according to him.

Ethereum loses speed

One of the biggest strengths of Ethereum over Bitcoin is its speed of transaction processing.

Since its birth, this platform advocates scalability and openness to application development, which has not failed to stir up the interests of the crypto community.

However, the fervor of Ethereum to surpass itself is out of date and the company is struggling to solve the problems of transaction latency, since it is faster than Bitcoin but only a few seconds.

On the other hand, its main attraction, the dApps technology, is today exploited by young companies like TRON and EOS, which are more proactive and display a more robust technology.

Recently, observers specializing in cryptocurrency announce the end of Ethereum, which they say has no reason to exist ... a theory that Vitalik Buterin refutes naturally.

Vitalik recognizes the Ethereum delay

For its part, the boss of Ethereum recognizes the delay of its platform against new emerging structures, however it seems to take this situation as normal.

Vitalik Buterin accepted the fact that EOS and TRON are developing dApps faster and that their customers are more active than Ethereum.

On the other hand, he described this competition as normal, and especially as "inevitable".

While Ethereum is no longer a top dApps platform, its community and ICO market remain active.
