RE: Shots Fired! Ethereum Founder Declares WAR on CoinDesk.

Honestly, you simply NEED to disclose your personal financial biases based on your investments about ANY coin you talk or write about. This is NOT AN OPTION. This is the law, but if you actually want your word to have weight and maintain your credibility you need to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME. To not disclose means you're opening up yourself to securities fraud, but also means by default you are shilling, and your reputation / clout will take a hit whether your recognize it or not. And it really only takes one incident before people will not take your opinion seriously. You can look to literally any of the Bitconnect talking heads...

I haven't myself thought of @dougpolkcrypto in this regard, but keep it clean Doug, I'd prefer to see you guys succeed and keep it clean. You're editor is a talent and you're content is fun to watch. Let's keep it that way! Thanks for the long form interviews over on the other channel. Love those. Get some TA guys over at TheChartGuys to convince you that TA is not just bullshit ;)

"Securities fraud, also known as stock fraud and investment fraud, is a deceptive practice in the stock or commodities markets that induces investors to make purchase or sale decisions on the basis of false information, frequently resulting in losses, in violation of securities laws. Offers of risky investment opportunities to unsophisticated investors who are unable to evaluate risk adequately and cannot afford loss of capital is a central problem."
