Have you seen what Quintric is doing? They are linking or tethering cryptocurrency to Gold Eagles. It will be introducing some new developments in the near future. I would be interested on your opinion. It's a Bitshares blockchain operation. Exciting things happening there.

Indeed, plenty of exciting things happening in crypto. But pegging a coin to gold is done a lot; in fact 2 or 3 projects aiming to do that launched just last month.
I feel there's a lot of room to take crypto into mass transactional purpose in the real world.
But Quintric is different it's more of a certificate of the legal tender coin. It's more like a federal reserve note than cryptocurrency. It's not at all like any of the others. It is actual American Gold Eagle constitutional money. There's nothing like it in currency. It is in a league of it's own. Check it out. Quintric.com
