Digital Surge - An Easy way to use Crypto to Pay Bills

Today I had to pay a few bills with some of my STEEM as they were in dire need of some attention. I have used a few different services out there in Australia, but recently came across this one that looked alright to use.

Digital Surge allows you to pay your bills, credit cards or convert cryptocurrency into fiat and place it in your bank account.

You can also buy BTC directly from your bank account and transfer it where you wish or you can trade in and out of BTC as well.

I used the site to pay some money off my credit card bill.

Firstly you need to make an account with an email address.

I then had to convert my STEEM to BTC, which was easy enough on an exchange or through Blocktrades, and then sent it to the address specified through Digital Surge. The BTC address changes once used, so don't send me any extras!

I then clicked on the Pay Credit Card button.....

Entered the appropriate BPay details for the Credit Card and chose how much in BTC I wanted to pay off.

The next verification step got me a little worried as I normally don't like verifying my details.... Sort of defeats the whole anonymity of using crypto. But once I realised that Digital Surge use the Australia Post Digital Id verification, I didn't blink an eye as I have used this service numerous times before to verify my identity for other purposes. It is safe and secure and used by a lot of Australian companies for identification verification purposes.

I like the various layers of security that this company has incorporated into their website as well.

Their fees seem pretty reasonable as well compared to some of the others.

I am always looking for somewhere new to use in Australia for crypto services. Some of the ones I have used in the past have now gotten greedy but Digital Surge is a new one that I will be keen to use some more.
