Facebook has given personal information to the public

in #facebook6 years ago

The report said on Sunday that Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Samsung have contracted data sharing with at least 60 companies in the last ten years. Without the explicit consent of the agreement, organizations have been allowed to use Facebook related information, political bias, educational qualifications, religion and upcoming incidental information.

The world's top social network has already been criticized by email makers, policy makers and Facebook users across the world, with the organization's steps to store customer's personal information and protect customer privacy.

In response to the New York Times report on Sunday, Facebook has defended itself on a blog post about providing personal information to the customer in other organizations.

"A contract has been signed with these partners that Facebook's Facebook information can not be used for any other purpose, without having to recreate the experience like Facebook," said email archive, vice president of Facebook's Product Partner Division at the blog post.

There was no immediate comment from CNBC regarding contacting Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Samsung about this.
