There is nothing wrong with being normal or ordinary.

This is where the root of the problem comes from. Do you see ordinary people on our phones, our TV, our movies, our news, our newspapers, and our billboards? No.

We see "special" people. People who play by a different set of rules than we do. They have special privileges and rights. And society champions them. Worships them. When average people see this, they are overwhelmed with jealousy. They want to be worshipped too so they engage in rat race behavior.

Social media will not solve this problem because it existed well before the internet. People wanted to be rockstars then, and they want to be rockstars now. The only difference is that with the internet, their actions and intentions are much more transparent.
