Facebook and Google ban Crypto Ads! What does it mean?

What has just happened on the internet?

Facebook decided to ban the possibility to create ads on the platform which talk about cryptos. 

It means that if you try to insert a banner with some particolar words like "ico" and others, you will be banned.

Why?

Since 2017, about 50% of ICOs failed their projects. It means that if you invest some money on one of these, there's a high chance to lose your money.

Facebook decided to ban these banners for the safe of the platform's users.

That means that Facebook lost lots of money too.

Is this a right desicion?

For sure ICO's market needs to be regulated. There are lots of frauds online and only a few people know what to do in front of one of these. 

The crypto market is new. If people lose money in scam projects, people start doing bad publicity. And if it happens, the market of CRYPTOs can lose value.

But what Facebook did is fulsome. Facebook didn't ban only words like "ico, offering, ico investment..." but also words like "Bitcoin and Blockchain".

This isn't fair.  The Blockchain is a technology. To ban "blockchain" in equal to ban "Java Scipt, HTML, Python...".

What About Google?

All we know for the moment is that Google will start to ban these ads in June.
