Ode to Billy Graham
Some think that Billy Graham is dead you know,
But that really just isn’t quite so.
He preached that Christ died for you and me
That by faith in Him we could live eternally.
Not by good works that we have done,
But simply by believing in God’s Son.
But if you wait too late and die,
You will have hell’s fate and cry.
Salvation is just a prayer away
Have simple faith in Christ today
Unmerited grace will take your sins away
And Jesus will be with you every day.
So some say Billy has passed away,
But that’s not entirely true,
He’s standing before Jesus Christ,
Waiting for me and you.
