Lots of conditional cultural patterning at work there too! We ARE collectively - as humanity - moving out of that time and more into an individuated phase, and your journey certainly is a microcosm of that. I'm curious to know how your son would describe and explain it all from his viewpoint, and how you and your husband are feeling a s a couple and a separate family unit - finally! So much growth - wish you more and more happiness.

True, too much of cultural patterning at play. My Son was kept most of the time away from all of this but yes he does have some bitter memories. He has grown up and thankfully he has also evolved a lot with his practices so he takes it as all as a part of the game and we have all as a family left this behind after she has passed away as there is nothing that can be done now and it is all past.
We feel much relaxed now, most important is the day to day peacefulness that has come in our life. We both as such talk less and we do not like loud talking so it surely is much more peaceful, there is more of laughter and fun in the house. It makes a lot of difference you bet, but no hard feelings now as she was also a part of us only at the end of the day.
