adorable, potty training sure is a chore, my son took a shit on the toilet twice in a row and then refused to do it again for a year. we started out having him sit to pee until he was tall enough to stand on a step.
Good idea using a step! Hadn't thought of that. Duh!
Helps with reaching the sink for hand washing too. And if you were not already sit him backwards on the toilet so when he pees it goes towards the toilet
