Start the change with your family

This is one of my favorite quotes from Mother Teresa. We can easily get caught up with the big things in the world that go on. It can be so easy to look around the world and endlessly point out what's going wrong.

Those things can seem overwhelming if we feel we are to play a part in them because we can get so lost in how to help sometimes. But there is always one thing that will stare us right in the face day in and day out.

That is our home and family life.

For some, loving your family seems impossible and as a result your home life seems to match the troubles of the world. But to see true change and progress into healing and restoration in ones life, it must start with the home and the family.

No matter what your relationships may be like with those in your home or family, it is always worth it to love them. There is joy on the other side of pushing through the contention that is holding us back.
