A VISIT TO PENNSYLVANIA

Spent the weekend with my daughter Erica and her boy friend Mike, great time as usual. Met Mike's parents. Must be getting serious! Next day she showed us around. Visited Geisinger Medical Center the hospital she works at. Wow, what a place.

After driving around this 6 to 7 hundred bed hospital we went to Mike's Grandmother's house to see her new chicken house. I mean house not pen. This chicken house was unreal. Mike's Grandmother treats her chickens and ducks like family. The place is as neat as a pin. When we first pulled up to the property you could her the music blaring from inside the ckicken house. She plays music all day for them.

For lunch we went to the Old Forge Brewing Company.

Started with a flight of beer. Four different 5oz glasses.
#2 Endless Sun Ale 4.5% Amber colored Pale Ale
#3 Gold Dust 5.3% Pale Ale
#10 Lupulin Daydreams IPA 5.8% Brewed with Mosaic and Amarillo Hops
#16 Oktoberfest 6.0% traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest nice malty body

Got to the place early and it was not busy. Checked with the owner to make sure it was alright to take a couple of pics.

A mural on the building across from where we parked depicted this downtown street from the past to the present.
