The Last Position
I have seen so many people call the last born of the family spoilt brats like all they do is to be spoilt and pampered by everyone but the life of the last child is equally as tough as the first born or any other position in the family and how do I know that? Because I am one. Now let me educate the things the so called spoilt brats has to go through being the baby of the house.
They are practically treated like a baby no matter how old they are, their opinion always always count the least, the last child is in more disadvantage position especially in an African home. The only way the last born is given 100% audience in a Nigerian home is if you're the richest, a prominent member of the society or a politician😁
You being in the last position means you leave the house last in most instances and I'm not talking about taking a stroll or going to school, in my family there is a age gap of twelve between the first born and the last born, ten between the second and last and eight between the third and last which means they are all in their thirties and the last child is still in her twenties.
The stereotype that the child in the last position has it easy should stop, they have it hard just as the first born but just in a different way.
