Family day | Fun day with the kids
Today is a fun day!
This is my first day going out of our house since I come back from a short vacation and my steemit come back after how many days of absence.
I was sick for 4 days since I got back to the US and with that I had to stay inside the house and rest.
But I'm happy I feel better now!
So I was able to join the church funday festival.
This is basically an event for the kids but the parents are with them so it makes fun for a family.
We were divided to groups and every group would come up with a fun game. Set up an station booth per group with their game. Let the kids visit and have fun with the game they prepared.
There was a zipline that was set up fit for kids. Not too high but quite long. Kids were enjoying the ride and they are seriously up for adventure stuff!
Another team had prepared a not usual game called toilet paper toss were a participant would just get a toilet paper and shoot it to the bowl. It was a fun gave that aims to let the kids know how to dispose their used toilet paper not to the bowl but to the trashcan.
Other games are basketball where kids favorite as well. balloon darts, and shot the target where kids would use a gun to hit the balls placed on top of the poles.
In every station, kids could participate and enjoy the game but on top of the fun they get from participating, they would also get some tickets as an equivalent rewards. They have to gather and or get more tickets they could as much as possible so they could use them to redeem prizes. The more tickets they collected, the greater the toy prize they would get.
Another booth is a face painting where in Mrs @fearlessfaith and I were stationed. Here, we did an art and some cartoon characters face painting. Aside from the fact that we enjoy painting on these kids faces, we also chose to be in this station so we won't get burn by the sun from staying outside lol!
It was very hot so staying inside the air condationed building was the best choice hahaha.
It was definitely fun-filled day and we enjoyed it.
They did it annually every June for the kids in the community. Let them have fun and just enjoy!
Parents had fun as well. It was a perfect time to bonding with their children. Forget about the busy and work-loaded life and just have fun with their kids.
I thought, in a world we have today where parents and other people are busy working all days, we need an even like this so to build a quality time with our children or love once. There is no problem working for money so we could provide for our family well but not to the cost of compromising our family time.
