A voice...a cry...deep in the wilderness of noise.
Trapped in the silence of apathy...
Helpless...hopeless...wanting...needing...
Expressions of pain upon the face...
dripping...in fear and hurt....
A stranger to love...yet so in need
Bleeding in silence...
As innocence evaporates and scars appear.
A child of tomorrow...trapped...
In a system of narcissistic evil
A child...ripped from home and family.
Alone...
The face of tomorrow wrapped in this child.
Needing the family it once knew.
Smiles, dreams, hopes. friends.
And the sweet canine to pet...
But now without.

Unless..

The silence is broken....
The apathy is discarded
and tomorrow is embraced
in this child....

A hand of love reaches out..
The hope of love is given.
