Family Believer - A Fun Song Parody Addressing Apathy and Dreams - Enjoy with Troy!

in #familyprotection5 years ago (edited)

In humbleness I offer a song parody. 'Family Believer' is a song parody on the Monkee's song, 'Daydream Believer.' Apathy is no friend of the family. In the same fun upbeat feel of the original Monkees's song, I address apathy and the dreams of families. The parody also makes the invitation to be a family believer where all children are free.

An Apathetic Stupor

While the world mutates through its apathetic stupor, the child theft of the CPS foster care system runs rampant in its efforts to break up families, steal children and profit with monthly quotas. Young little ones are being placed with total strangers and living nightmares are the norm. Lawyers, judges and social workers are making money hand over fist, while families are left high and dry like a hit and run...but it is no accident. This is all part of the big plan to control the masses. They are already drugged out on social media and poor nutrition, which help to breed this apathetic stupor. How can families get help when the world is in a stupor?

Addressing Apathy

This song parody addresses apathy both in the verse and chorus as in'Wake up people see! Oh join in with me' Apathy is not a friend of family or children. The parodies lyrics go on furth to express that human life is not for theft or sale. The real problem doe not lie in the families, but in the foster care system, as it only lives to kill dreams with broken homes and miseries betrayal.

Human life is not for theft or sale! Never!

And Dreams

Do you remember what it was like to dream as a child? You would lay in bed awake at night just thinking about the day or time when... What about when you were a parent planning for your family? Think about the countless dream you had for your children. Vacations, outings, sports events, dance classes or learning an instrument, their first class at school or church function. What if all those dreams are suddenly taken and thrown to the wind? What if all those hopes and ambitions are discarded like worthless pieces of junk. That is what happens when the CPS enters your life. Your dreams and your family deserve better.

They deserve the dream where children and families are free.

Be A Family Believer

Why sell innocence to a filthy foster care system. Why kill dreams or allow homes to be torn apart? Davy Jones was believer of dreams and I am a believe of the dreams of families. You too can be a 'family believer'. Only in the family can dreams be fulfilled, innocence be preserved and freedom be embraced. Pro-family groups like @familyprotection work hard to protect and preserve the family, children, truth and freedom. Consider supporting their efforts as they bring hope and a real voice to those who cannot speak. Be a family believer and join in our chorus.

Wake up people! See!
Oh please join in with me
As a family believer where all children are free!

A personal note

With humbleness as I have written many song parodies for @familyprotection, it is my hope and prayer that one day these written parodies may be used live by pro-family groups in an effort to end the filthy theft of our CPS system. If Martin Luther King, Jr. could change the world with his words, why can't we? If Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger or Peter, Paul or May could move the minds through song...why can't we...with music?

About the song

Daydream Believer was originally written by John Stewart when he was with the Kingston Trio. Davy Jones and the Monkees recorded this song in 1967. The Monkees was a commercialized TV promo band organized as a take off of the Beatles fad. In his record one word was changed from 'funky' to 'happy.' The original lyrics talk about waking up and dreaming as do I in the parody. However the CPS does not want you to wake and are at a polarized Orwellian opposite view. They take advantage of our stupor. Like the original song, the parody offer a fun, upbeat feel, yet discusses about a serious subject threatening our world.

The videos .

I offer three recording to accompany the parody. The first is the original 1967 Monkeys version. The actual song starts 20 seconds into the video. It is upbeat to listen to. The second is a unique video interpretation by singer, Susan Boyle. This is much slower and intimate, yet fresh and wonderful to listen to. I highly recommend it. Finally we have an audio recording by the original songwriter, himself, John Stewart. His voice and guitar accompaniment offer a country feel to the song that makes it relaxing to listen to. I enjoyed it much.

Other recordings

Other musical interpretations of Daydream believer include Anne Murray and Glee. there is a Davy Jones video of him doing the song live at the Razz Room toward the end of his life that is particularly good. it has a lot of positive energy. Regardless which video you choose, may the words of the parody speak to your heart,

Now enjoy the song parody and music and be sure to support @familyprotection.

Family Believer

Oh, I could hide 'neath the fear
Undisturbed to see the tear
The CPS doorbell with words to scare
But the CPS gives lies
Those asleep can't hear the cries
The innocence that's sold to foster care.

Wake up people! See!
Oh please join in with me
As a family believer where all children are free!

Teardrops fall like rain
Another child is placed in pain
Human life is not for theft of sale!
Oh, foster care it seams
only lives to kill the dreams
with broken homes and misery's betrayal.

Wake up people! See!
Oh please join in with me
As a family believer where all children are free!
