[familyprotection] CPS SCARE TACTICS: How CAN WE HOLD STRONG AGAINST SCARE TACTICS USED BY CPS SOCIAL WORKERS?

in #familyprotection6 years ago

What Child Protective Services scare tactics are they using on you? How can we hold strong against scare tactics used by Child Protective Services social workers?

I have an old saying I use when I’m in confusing or stressful situations. It is

“Fly Above the Situation.” This means that no matter what happens, I am observing as if I were a bird flying above the sky or situation, just watching everything happen.

With this on my mind, I don’t react emotionally. Instead I see the people for what they are and try to examine why they’re saying what they say, or doing what they do. I try to find out who they are, and what the best way to talk to them would be. Then I respond from that elevated viewpoint, not with pride, but with a kind of humble spirit that tells them, “I get you, I get what you’re about, and I care about you.”

Your reply should never entails anger or pride. That only leads to disaster.

Now, it may be hard to care about a scheming, lying, threatening social worker, but the ideal is that you don’t want them to have power over you, to make you react with fear to their intimidation. Say no to that!

What you need is to have the advantage over them, and you can achieve that by waiting, analyzing, then responding in a respectful and respectable manner. Let the CPS social worker know, by your character and calm responses, that you are not frightened or intimidated by her learned Child Protective Services scare tactics.

You see, social workers develop the skills very well to frighten, intimidate, coerce, get their way, and win their cases in Juvenile Court, by all meaning neccesary. They may be unaware they are doing this. They may have perfect these tactics so well, they do them subconsciously. They probably think they are God’s gift to children and are granted to have power over the parents in their caseloads.

Prove them wrong, not with pride, angry and fear-induced argumentative characters, but by flying above the situation, take time to analyze, and show them what a nice person you can be. No matter who they are, you need to grasp the reality of the situation and get that person to like you and want to be frank, sincere and straightforward with you.
