If I opt out of an SSN to protect my family, can my kids get an education?

In an earlier post, I talked about a strategic option to protect yourself from the government infiltrating your family. That was opting out of the birth certificate if you give birth to your child in a hospital. It is possible to obtain a birth cert without a social security number, but hospitals are known to "seize children" if you make "unconventional" decisions (no vaccinations, no birth cert, etc.), so it may be better to have a home birth if possible, then get a birth cert later.

It is up to your conscience on whether or not to get the birth cert, but remember what I brought up in the last post - the government has used birth certs and marriage certs to intrude upon and break up families.

Education

I want to address one of the questions many have when considering the no-SSN option, "Can my children get an education?"

The answer of course is, yes! Education is very broad, so I want to give specific information regarding various levels of education.

The Early Years To High School

Honestly, the best option for families wanting to train their children in liberty is homeschooling. If there are subjects you are not competent in, you can delegate the teaching to someone else or a private institution. Another thing to consider is mentorships. Have your child sit under someone who is a master in their trade or industry, which will play more to their success in the real world.

However, for whatever reason you want to send your children to public school, it is possible for them to go without a Social Security Number. It depends on the individual school board's decision to make SSN collection mandatory, optional, or not mentioned. I want to make it clear, I recommend avoiding public schools like the plague.

College and Universities

There is no legal reasoning whatsoever for colleges needing a student's SSN. If a student is not allowed to study because they don't have a SSN, it is most likely the outcome of an arbitrary decision by the Admissions Department. Honestly, you may need to argue a bit with admissions because they tend to turn away individuals who go against the bureaucratic status-quo. The only thing is you will not be allowed to use stolen (taxed) funds from the Federal Government, but may still qualify for private scholarships.

There is one college that I know for certain who would accept a student that does not have a SSN, New Geneva Christian Leadership Academy. They are very much against humanistic and bureaucratic tyrants. I received my Bachelor's degree from them, and am currently enrolled in a Master degree there.

Is It Possible?

In my opinion, yes! I don't think you need to sacrifice a solid education to protect your family. In fact, protecting your family by avoiding an SSN may give them better educational options. Will it take more work and responsibility on your part? Probably. But with so many resources available, the work of educating your children is easier now than it ever has been.

In a future post I want to discuss some of the other consequences of forgoing an SSN to protect your children from the government and unjust taxes. For example, will they be able to get traditional employment? What about travel?

If you have any questions to add, please mention them in the comments and I'll do my best to research and answer them!

basically all this depends on the government, finally they are the ones who decide, in my country is not allowed education at home, so in itself it is a crime, no one attaches it therefore it is not allowed to the boys who do not attend the formal education, enter the university

That is definitely a problem. I am writing from an American background, but this does apply in some countries, albeit not all of them.

It depends on how far you will go to not allow for government overreach. Some move to country with less restrictions and some disobey those mandatory attendance laws. It was illegal to homeschool for a few years in the 80's in the US. Many parents chose to still homeschool and even went to jail because they thought there freedoms were important enough to disobey the government.
