The Apathy of Christians Towards Family Protection

Romans 13 is not a blank check for government authority!

I haven’t cried gut-wrenching imprecatory Psalms in prayer for a while. For example,

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people are not welcome.
The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
you, Lord, detest.
But I, by your great love,
can come into your house;
in reverence I bow down
toward your holy temple.
Psalm 5:3-6

Or,

Make them like tumbleweed, my God,
like chaff before the wind.
As fire consumes the forest
or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
so pursue them with your tempest
and terrify them with your storm.
Cover their faces with shame, Lord,
so that they will seek your name.
Psalms 83:13-16

A government regulated hospital killed a child against the parents wishes. And yes, abandonment is a form of breaking “you shall not murder.” Guess what, these rulers were not ministering good (Romans 13), so they should have been defied by the Christians in the immediate vicinity to the hospital.

Our we silent in our prayers?

Christians, how many of us prayed for the destruction of the judges who protected the murderers? How many of us will pray that the innocent blood shed will sink deep into the soil of Britain and call out for judgment from God?

The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.
Genesis 4:10

How many of us will pray for the death penalty of the ruling officials who blocked the parents wishes, which is what God’s Law requires?

Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man.
Genesis 9:6

Repent of sinful passivity

Damn it! Damn our apathy to hell! We have rendered ourselves worthless in our actions (no one physically interposing on behalf of Alfie or the parents) and our prayers (praying only for “spiritual” matters). To prove a point, how many of us prayed that the local murder mills would be destroyed from abortion being legally abolished, a mass conversion of all the staff, or straight up fire from Heaven consuming it? Be honest.
