An undocumented child, 4, was sexually assaulted by a policeman in Texas.
Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy Jose Nunez, who was arrested on Sunday, may be related to the victim.
The assaults may have been going on for some time; Nunez was able to avoid detection by threatening the child's mother with deportation.

The claimed justification of the family destruction is ostensibly to deter undocumented immigrants,

Last year the US government lost track of 1,500 refugee children but denies responsibility for them.

Meanwhile US Attorney General Jeff Sessions decided in an 18 June 2018 ruling that domestic abuse and gang violence no longer qualifiy as grounds to seek asylum in the US.
