What a horror! Folks who haven't been roped into the rodeo before probably have no idea of how endemic corruption and coercion are in court. One statistic that gives a clue to how terrible the problems are with courts is that over 90% of criminal cases are pled out, rather than go to trial.
This isn't because they're all guilty, but because the extortion that is brought to bear is so severe that up to 25% of those that do plead out aren't even guilty. Adding the CPS and it's even worse corruption doesn't make things any better.
I can't imagine how I'd have reacted had one of my sons been killed in such a way. Pretty sure I wouldn't have access to the internet though.

Yeha, ppl brush it off, thinking the system is just and there are only rare cases. Then they care if it happens to them, just like vaccine injury...
Good point on the courts, charges are brought, and they scare ppl into thinking they will lose and to admit to being guilty when they aren't because the systemis rigged to try to send them away for longer if they try to fight for their innocence. It's so fucked.
