Growing your own
This is an old picture which I found on a file. It is a ladies finger/okra. The plant yielded a few vegetables before it was destroyed by an insect later on. We did not wish to spray pesticides, though. I hope we can plant a few vegetables this year so that we need not buy from a merchant who sells veggies that have been sprayed.
The fruits that you see lying around are rose apples/jambu. Birds peck the ripe fruits and it falls down in huge numbers.
