BENEFITS OF RAISING A GOOSE AT HOME
SOURCE
Hello friends in this opportunity, following the challenges of the farms, I am going to tell you about the geese. Some people are so fond of goose, that now they also want to know how to raise them as pets, to benefit from their eggs first, and also from their meat
It should be kept in mind that although geese feed on grass, when they are raised as a pet they also require food that meets their vitamin and mineral needs.
These are ideal animals to have at home, since they can use their feathers, eggs, and even their meat, since at first this nice animal was used for the poultry farm, but today, many people they have adopted them as pets, because they are very grateful animals, and they adapt very well to different types of environment, as long as they are provided with the essential basic care they require.

The geese have a flattened beak that is covered with a thin skin, and with a horny plate at its end. They also have a mantle of feathered feathers with which their body is covered, which is protected by the segregation of a fat cover, which is expelled by its uropigial layer, which is located at the top of the tail.
These birds are smaller than swans, but larger than ducks. Male and female are equal in their coloration, so the only way to identify them with the naked eye is size and weight.
Geese, along with swans, are the heaviest flight birds that exist, but even so, they can travel long distances, and at a great height. What sets it apart from the swan, is that its legs are more adapted to walk for longer, which makes it more terrestrial than these.
The only place where geese can mate to reproduce is in a natural or artificial lagoon, which is where geese live. So if you want to know how to raise geese, the first thing you should have at home is one of these.
Many times it takes the help of a broody chicken to finish hatching the eggs, which will take to hatch between twenty-nine and thirty days, of which only eighty percent of the baby geese will be born and survive.
These animals can feed only on grass, but it is good to know what is the feeding of the geese, and with this information you know how to breed geese at home.
