Common Pheasant or Collar Pheasant: this is considered the most known pheasant and easy to breed making it more suitable for common for human consumption and sport hunting. They reach their sexual maturity a year after being born. The incubation period is 23 to 24 days, if they are in breeding sites they can put between 40 and 80 eggs. The eggs are usually removed to take them to incubators.

Golden Pheasant: this type of pheasant stands out because it is very colorful, it can be easily bred and it is given an ornamental characteristic. It has a mantle of feathers that can move and used to woo the female. This mantle can be noticed both in the neck and in the head. There is the possibility of mixing this bird with others, but it is not recommended, because the possibility of producing infertile birds grows. They reach sexual maturity at two years of age. The incubation period is 22 days. They can get between 20 and 30 eggs. If they are in hatcheries, the eggs are removed and taken to incubators. If they are wild they only lay between 8 and 12 eggs.

Revered Pheasant: these birds come from China. They present a kind of mask over the eyes and have a long and narrow tail measuring 1.5 meters. Tends to be nervous. They reach their sexual maturity a year after being born. The incubation period is 24 days. They put between 20 and 50 eggs (hatcheries) and between 10 and 12 eggs, in wild habitat.
