It's yet another beautiful day, yeah this is my first actual post, and how best will it be to start all over again than to hit the ground running on a good day like this, a good day to talk fashion, a good day to talk style (I see you smiling already), you surely dont wanna miss this one, so here we go;

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is gonna be like a meetup, a meetup to crack a pretty hard nut (the confussion between fashion and style), if you aint here with your hammer you have nothing to worry about, i'm gonna crack this nut for you. Now lets get cracking! Let us talk fashion and style.

What is style?
What is fashion?
What is the relationship between fashion and style?
Are they the same? What’s the difference?

FASHION

I will say for short, "Fashion is style, a trend of style"

However, wikipedia defined fashion as a distinctive and often constant trend in the style in which a person dresses.

"Fashion is the relationship to the external.
It is concerned with “what’s out there” (fashion items in the stores) to “what I’m wearing”.

“Is what I’m wearing a match for what’s out there in the stores?”

“Are the clothings in the stores trendy?”

STYLE

I think style simply means “who you are”, your individuality, your personality. It is how you express yourself with fashion

I so much love this lady, Jill Chivas, he's one of my role models in the fashion world. She also talked about style and said

Style is the relationship to the internal.
It’s about what’s in me (my sense of self, my identity, my perception of who I am) and how that is reflected and expressed in what I’m wearing.

People will say you are FASHIONABLE or you know fashion when you wear what is in vogue or trending, but they will say you have got STYLE when you add yourself (your "YOU" factor) all over what you wear.

However, its worthy to note that fashion switches with season but style is influenced by factors like religion, moral upbringing, association with others, weather, etc.

Do you know that the reason why fashion icons are who they are today is because of how they have created their own style from fashion and one funny thing is that not all fashion designers are fashion icons but anybody can be a fashion icon, even you, yes YOU!
