The hermit thrush is a wide spread bird, that is
usually seen on or near the ground. Both feeding
and nesting.
Easy to identify, the spotted breast and....
white eyering are the best indicators.

I haven't see one in years! What a great photo. From your map, it appears that they only come through here when they are migrating. Thanks for sharing it with #featheredfriday!

near the ground...I only see them when I am north...
