AT THE SPIRITUAL REALM

Deep down a big ocean lies the kingdom of the marine spirit,where the queen of coast resides. On a well decorated tall chairs sits a very beautiful fierce looking woman,a mantle of a statue stands at the left hand side,five and four pretty girls are at the left and right hand side respectively dancing and singing. A young pretty girl stands infront of them in tears and terrified.

QUEEN MOTHER:(looks at amaka) The calamity which you have brought to this great sisterhood needs urgent cleansing, which demands the blood of your unborn child.

AMAKA: (weeping,touches her tummy) The great mother of the universe, i am deeply sorry for going against the rules of this sisterhood by getting myself in an intimate relationship with a mortal man. This child reminds me of the love i shared with the man that means a lot to me,spare my child.

QUEEN MOTHER:(echoes).You dare talk of love here,don't you know the consequence of your action?,the child must surely be sacrificed.

AMAKA:(kneels) please,this child might wipe away the shame in my family,am the only child of my parents,the child might answer my fathers name;if it turns out to be a boy(turns to her fellow sisters) Help me plead on my behalf,tell her to spare the unborn child,the poor child knows nothing of it.

MERCY:(sad) I warned you to stay away from that boy,you fell deaf ears,we can't do anything.

SANDRA: We warned you but you refused to listen to us,rather you allowed your feelings to come in,carry your cross.

At this juncture,a deep and terrifying voice speaks with authority .

VOICE:(loudly) The child must and surely be sacrificed,if not death,damnation and suffering shall befall you all daughters of the east. The child in her womb is an evil seed which must be sacrificed,that's the verdict of the queen of the coast. (the voice dies down)

AMAKA:(screams) Nooooooooo

Amaka wakes up terrified and tears in her eyes,she just had a revelation.
