Definitely one of the only books on craft I feel great about recommending. I think Stephen King's book is great as it touches on work ethic and setting a daily word count minimum and I really like "Bird by Bird" written by Anne Lamont because it talks about process, patience, and growth. All three are great books--and other than that, there are very few writing books I could recommend. Thanks for your kind words.

Hello Big Panda, I'd like to hear more in another post about how this book is different than the other books. Does he discuss the Moral Premise, Structure, Sequences, Scenes, Subplots, Symbols, Images, Codes, Chakras, and the other bazillion things that go into Story Development, Structure, and Storytelling?

Thank you for sharing, but many have no concept how intense and deep the rabbit hole goes into the entire industry we call Story and the scary thing is when you get to the bottom of the rabbit hole and think you've figured it out, another trap door opens up and reveals two new rooms - Mythology and Cosmology.
