The paperback version of the new book by Steem Fiction is now available on Amazon.
Several days ago we at @steemfiction released our highly anticipated 2nd book, Dead Silence.
As you know @steemfiction is a group of fiction writers that publish a book of short stories every few months on Amazon.com.
We tend to switch the genre every time we publish a new book.
The 1st book, Voices in the Darkness, was based on supernatural events. The 2nd book, Dead Silence, is based on murder. The 3rd book, whose title has not been chosen yet, is based on science fiction.
I am a science fiction and horror writer so that's right up my alley.
You might not realize that publishing a book on Amazon is not a particularly easy task, especially when it comes to the paperback version.
There's an awful lot of formatting to be done.
Editing, formatting, getting the spacing right, making sure that Amazon accepts all of your different changes.
This can take a very long time.
It certainly did take a very long time for our 1st book, Voices in the Darkness, to get the paperback version available..... because it was a very difficult task.
However, I've been able to streamline things a little bit and the paperback version of Dead Silence is already available now.

That's such a cool idea. I like the collaboration aspect to it. Do you folks split the revenue generated from the sales of the book as well or does that go to the individual who does the work of publishing?

For the most part we are using the funds to increase the stake of the steem fiction account but some of it is also going to the editing process.

OK. If you have discord go ahead and send it to me on there. Right now we are working on science fiction stories with a minimum length to 5000 words. If your story is shorter than that you will have 2 months or so to expand it.
Great. The story sample I have isn't science fiction. It's more to give you an idea of my writing, so I would write a different one on theme.
