I like suspense stories, which catch you from the first moment. Your text is very well done. I think it maintains the precise rhythm to imagine that something could happen. The moment of the house and the memory of the words, not knowing who could have said those words, if he or his dead father, is a good effect. Although we are in the 21st century and man believes he knows everything, there are still things that are unknown to us and that can cause us fear or perplex us. Thank you for sharing, @samminator
