Ejiro's Dairy: Acting differently doesn't make you unique...#EPISODE 1

We searched from dawn till dusk but Ejiro was nowhere we could ever imagine. The atmosphere was negatively charged as groaning and weeping could be heard from the room.

She has always been the coolest of them all. Coming from a polygamous home where the dad was married to two wives. She was the second child of the second wife. It has always been a tradition that a man can marry as many wives he can take care of. The dad was a very handsome and caring man that was caught in the midst of chaos of tradition. His intention like he would always say was never to be polygamous but circumstances left him no choice.

He found love with his childhood friend but his parents didn't approve of her because they had another arrangement for their son. They had found favour from the parents of another girl they preferred for their son, her parents were wealthy and has helped them on several occasions. After so much resistance he had no choice than to succumb to their will as they threatened not to give their blessing, attend give approval of his choice. Parental blessings were held with high esteem and as such cannot be overlooked or ignored.

He never loved her, so when he made some few bucks to be comfortable he decided it was time for him to take a second wife since it was not frowned on. But before he could do that he had already gotten a son from the first wife and this made her position resounding to his parents as they no longer care about what he intends to do in his marital life.

He was a success in his career but had serious challenge and problem at home managing his wives. So one day, he decided to send the first wife out of the house to a newly furnished apartment he bought at another end of the town so as to retain his sanity.

She agreed with so many terms. At this time she was already having two kids. A boy and a girl that she loved, cherished, and cared for alot so there was little or nothing to loose as she too didn't love the man. It wasn't termed divorce as they were never married in court so it was a mere separation.

The second wife could now have a breath of fresh air. The constant nagging and quarrels have had the better part of her as she looked stressed out all the time. She was expecting her second child, there was no better time for the separation than when it happened. She had previously given birth to a male child. Few weeks later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. As it was the custom of the land, a naming ceremony was scheduled for the eight day after delivery...
