I usually skip stories about northern Europe imaginary (i.e. orcs, dragons, lord of the rings etc...) cause we reached a saturation point and it's very rare to find some interesting stuff involving those creatures. However, I really enjoyed reading yours, your descriptions and considerations within the flow. Good job!
