FIFA Football World Cup - PART 12
The 12th staging of the FIFA World Cup was held in Spain, from 13 June to 11 July. A huge version, occured with 52 games and 146 goals scored. As we can see, with an average of 2.81 goals per match.
The four teams that qualified to the semis of the World Cup were: Spain, West Germany, Poland and France.
The final game of the World Cup took place in Madrid, Santiago Bernabeau, the current home court of Real Madrid.
Italy were able to clinch their 3rd title, and win against West Germany 3-1.
The golden boot award was given to the Italian player, Paolo Rossi, who scored 6 goals during the World Cup, followed by the German player; Karl-Heinz Rummenige with 5 goals.
