A Perfect World Cup for the Underdogs

Many of the football fans supported Brazil for its football love, Argentina for Messi, Portugal for Ronaldo and Spain for few Real Madrid and Barcelona players. Not but least, the Germans too.

But we have noticed that none of the teams we had supported did not make it. Argentina and Portugal were kicked out in their first knockout match.

I supported Argentina from the start, even though Messi had a bad time. I believed in him and he managed to score atleast once. He tried his best to carry the team on his own and were almost near a win against France.

None of us expected that France would meet Croatia in the Finals. Even though France won the Cup, Croatia won the hearts of us all.
