Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law Sherlock Holmes 3 Postponed To 2021

The world most famous detective couple is coming back in 2021! Pre-production has already started, but the first release date has been moved from December 25, 2020 to December 2021. Warner Bros. made this change because James Cameron’s Avatar 2 took over the previous date from Sherlock Holmes 3.

Director seat is still unknown, but there are rumors that after success of first two sequels, Guy Ritchie is the man for the third one, also. Script is already finished and it is signed by Chris Brancato.

I have nothing more to add but that we all have huge expectations for the third movie. Robert Downey Jr. is perfect as famous British detective Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law is his loyal right hand as Dr. Watson. Rachel McAdams is still unknown if she will be in the new film as Irene Adler.

It is also interesting that Sherlock Holmes 3 was almost filmed 3 years ago, in 2016., but Robert Downey Jr. wasn’t able to do it because of shooting films for Marvel.
