What do you get when you are making movie produced by BBC Films, Pathé, Twentieth Century Fox with Academy Award winner actress in the main role? You get biography/drama film about legendary person from our past which will be masterpiece for years… That is just short intro for the movie Judy.
It is winter 1968 and legendary performer Judy Garland arrives in London to perform a series of sold-out concerts. It has passed 30 years since she shot The Wizzard of Oz, but she is not so confident, voice has weakened and everything gets harder in her life...

The movie is directed by Rupert Goold, known for TV movie King Charles III (2017) and True Story (2015). Screenplay is written by Tom Edge, based on the stage play "End of the Rainbow" by Peter Quilter.
In the main role is Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland and you will have to look very closely to recognize her, because her change into Judy was stunning. Beside her, in the movie we can see talented actress Jessie Buckley (Beast (2017), Taboo (2017), Wild Rose (2018)), Finn Wittrock (Unbroken (2014), The Big Short (2015), TV series American Horror Story (2014-2016)), Rufus Sewell (Dark City (1998), The Illusionist (2006)), Michael Gambon and others.
