World of warcraft
Vroeger was er een van de grootste massale multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG) beschikbaar. Dit was World of Warcraft.
Nu wil je me misschien corrigeren door te zeggen dat het in feite nog steeds beschikbaar is. Het is. Maar niet met de miljoenen spelers en hechte gemeenschap die het eerder had. Voelt nu meer als een stofkom aan, omdat de werelden alleen maar groter worden en het aantal spelers steeds kleiner wordt.
Om de klaagzang te stoppen en op mijn punt te komen, was er de eerste versie van World of Warcraft. Deze versie wordt door de community 'Vanilla' genoemd. Het was redelijk in balans en je zou overal spelers tegenkomen. Het was leuk, goede tijden.
Hieruit vloeit mijn liefde voor het spel voort, en enkele van de beste spelers die ik tijdens mijn jarenlange spel tegenkwam.
