Nothing is immutable in life, everything flows - courtesy of Heraclitus - and the potassium mojo of these Realms makes no exception.
However, fork after fork (we didn't even finish to complain for the 21st and here we go with the 22nd!), one certainty permeates our potassiumnized hearts: the Bananafish endures and is here to gift us moments of wonder and fun.

Short version today: for September I, @f3nix the Phoenician, would like to discuss with you all about some possibilities. I was tingled by the idea of a Quest in the Realms n. 2 or a monthly Finish the Story with a way bigger pot. Sink me! We shall discuss this in our discord blasphemous and mutinied Davy Jones' Locker, throwing some empty glasses of grog at each other like real Bananafish pirates.

I was almost forgetting with all this blabber: congrats to @calluna for another well deserved Curie and welcome to our new entry with a very interesting name: @poemsofasickmind!

The Winners

A crawling and horrifying revelation progressively emerges to the eyes of the reader, like an eyeball observing you from a tasty bowl of tomato soup. I must admit that from the beginning I felt a creeping uneasiness throughout the narration. Perhaps, even the present tense and the first person, which he had more or less maintained, contributed to creating a sense of estrangement. I also appreciated the circular structure where the final revelation relates to the hints in the beginning.

SECOND PRIZE - 3 STEEM & 200 SNAX tokens: @tristancarax!
There were some elegant yet effective passages, one in particular. He's truly refining his style, in my humble opinion. His narration is genuine, not flowery or one where it's seeable that the author is striving to look for an elaborate metaphor or to amaze the reader. Its fast pace also maintained me engaged from the beginning till the end.

THIRD PRIZE - 2 STEEM & 200 SNAX tokens: @oivas!
Intense. The one he choose to tackle - a partner's death - is a topic that typically gives me a knot in my throat. Making an effort to overcome my personal likes or weak points, I've to say that his story is well orchestrated and the narration effective.
