RE: Pirate Hunters: Week #35 of the Finish the Story Contest! Blimey!

in #finishthestory6 years ago (edited)

The switch to the other perspective works so well in developing the sense of conflict between the two vessels. I love the ending, a good pirate, may be captured and bound, but that doesn't make her caught. Got me wondering, was her captain coming to save her though, or to take her back to claim the bounty on her crew mate? Freeing herself, she likely won't find out, and the poisonous note is perfect Another gripping end, with a very well deserved curie. What i love most is how you manage to tie up all of the first half, completely seamlessly, without ever going back to the first ship.

just felt more interesting. thanks for reading.

Indeed, @dirge many to shift to the other ship and add unto the first half. Like a jump cut in a movie, this was rather smooth and continues the second we leave the first ship. Now I’m glad that I left that bounty line the lass Cap’n stated at the very end of the prompt. Anyways, waiting to read thy ending soon.
