Trout Fishing with the Kids on Mentored Day 2015

Eldon and Crystal take the family out for an action-packed morning of fishing on the banks of Big Cove Creek during the PA Mentored Youth Fishing day of 2014. Most of the fish were caught on corn, with a few on night-crawlers and one on a piece of foam earplug (a video on that coming later). In the video I misidentified a few brook trout as brown trout.

    I absolutely loved your video, there are few things better for a man to do with kids than take them fishing. Every one of those children will remember you taking them trout fishing on that gorgeous stream for the rest of their lives. Chances are they will in turn take your grandchildren fishing too.
    It warms my heart to see a child's joy as they proudly hold up their catch!

    Great to do things with your kids or kids that don’t have anyone to do things with. I bet there would be much less trouble in 5he world if more young ones had some wholesome fun like this!
