9,808 Reps From 10 Steemians After 25 Days - The Steem Daily 100 Rep Fitness Challenge - 50 Push-ups & 50 Squats - Day 26 (9/9)

I went to the gym for the first time in several months and did 110 push-ups there on top of my regular workout. I realized that cute girls are far better motivation than staring at my wall in the middle of the night at my apartment. Either way, challenge done with no excuses.

I weighed in at 195.5 pounds in clothes and felt great. The push-ups have built up my chest, tris and shoulders, and I didn't notice it completely until I put one of my older gym shirts on. My waist is also slimming down nicely. I might take a pic soon as a progress checkpoint. Since I hadn't been there since May or June, I got a lot of surprised looks at the improvement in my physique from the regulars. That was nice.

Talk is cheap. Actions are what matter. Thanks to those who are sticking with this.

My New Reps: 110 push-ups.

I felt good at the gym. I did the speed bag, the trunk twist machine, back rows, the rowing machine, and some curls. I didn't go too heavy so I could simply wake up my body for upcoming gym trips. Baseball has kept my core in good shape. I just need to work on my back and biceps a bit since I've ignored those a bit lately.

I also did another 11 reps of bicep curls with my 75 pound bar earlier in the day before the gym.

Tonight's fuel was 9 eggs cooked in olive oil and two 20g protein bars with two coconut waters.

Make sure you go 90 degrees with your elbows and legs, with your back straight, on each rep. Don't have your elbows too wide on the floor. Feel free to help others if they look like that can use some advice.

Again, this is just a baseline of activity for the day. This will be far from all I do on most days, and the same can go for you.


Markets and spirits may be down now, but our health should always be on the rise.

We don't always need an app and tokens for everything, or to worry about things we can't control.

Good work with the 110 pushups.

I had to give up going to the gym, when I see young women in lycra I can't focus on lifting weights. Lycra is like kryptonite for me ;)

To poison myself and kill my agility I did 2000m rowing in 7:17 before challenge. I did 50 jump push-ups and 50 jump squats in 7:04. @steemmatt waiting for your video of jump push-ups;) ju need touch(clap) your hands after each jump
