The Savior of God's people is still alive.
Today, I am starting a new series from the Bible with different topics but it will follow the Bible in chapters and verses starting from the book of Matthew in relation to the old testament books. Follow me as we sort the the Bible together. Also in here is a contest.
The birth of Jesus of Christ shows us that nothing in this world can stand against God from the conception, to the death, it was all pre planned and executed by God with angels being at the fore front of it all.
I said that to look at the lineage of Jesus Christ and where God has been planning the recreation of man through remission of sin with the blood of Jesus Christ, our savior today, tomorrow and forever.
The generation of Jesus Christ were fourteen generations from Abraham to David, with another fourteen generation before the relocation to Babylon and finally fourteen generation again just before Christ came in being in the body, flesh and blood. These generations are: David is the prime son of Abraham lineage which are in summary; Abraham gave to Isaac who is the father of Jacob, then Jacob to Judah who is the father of Perez. Hezron is the son of Perez and Ram came from Hezron with Ram the father of Amminada who gave birth to Nahshon. Salmon came from Nahshon who is the grand father of Boaz whose son is Obed.
Obed then gave birth to Jesse who was the father of King David and David to Solomon, Solomon to Rehoboam who is the father Abijah, then from Abijah to Asa who gave birth to Jehoshaphat. Jehoram then came from Jehoshaphat with Jehoram the father of Uzziah and Uzziah the father of Jotham then Jotham gave birth to Ahaz. Ahaz is the father of Hezekiah who is the father of Manasseh who is the father of Amon, Amon to Josiah.
.......... Eleazer who is the father of Matthhan who then gave birth to Jacob then Jacob to Joseph the husband of Mary and Mary was the mother of Jesus Christ.
The Birth (Isaiah 7:10-14)
One thing notable from the birth of Jesus Chirst is the fact that it was pre-written in Isaiah of how the whole story will come into being and exactly the way it was written. John the Baptist mention Jesus in many occassion who is to baptised us with Holy Ghost which we are all enjoying today as a Christian.
Mary was engaged to Joseph to marry and before they were married Mary was seen with pregancy.
Lets imagine what she would have been through, how people would have talk about her but she was never perturbed because she is serving a high cause.
I want us today to live like this, forget what people are saying about you and focus on the high calling and make your election sure.
Joseph was visited by the Angel to communicate what he need to do to get out of trouble that was to come on the child of destiny (Jesus Christ) and fortunately Joseph was alive in the spirit to recieve such messages loud and with clarity.
Many today live their life so open to devil's attack by just not being wary of the spiritual, sin has become a thing of num which block their sensitivity to the instruction from the Holy Spirit and that of angels. Sometimes, you ask why did this happen to you? I will say you have been warned but not sensitive enough to receive.
Imagine when the angel of the Lord gave instruction to Joseph and he wasn't sensitive to know or understand what the angel communicated, what would have happened? Joseph was able to wake up and carry out the instruction as told by the angel, took Mary as his wife and ensure not to have sexual relationship with her until she gave birth to Jesus Christ and was named Emmanuel which means God with us. Off a truth God is with us today compare to the old testament.
The Holy Spirit is crucial to our journey as a Christian today judging from the birth of Jesus which proceed through the Holy Spirit. This is the right doctrine that should be preached all around the world because it is important to our faith. The Holy Spirit is a miracle Himself which led to Mary being pregnant. Jesus is fully human and fully divine which means entirely God.
His sacrifice has pave way for us to be closer to the father through His son. There is no better time to enjoy the grace than now. He has fulfilled everything He need to do in this world and you and I are here now. Make it count.
