I think there should be a field in the middle called Hope.
It sure does. My search to get from bottom left to top right landed me to this book by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi titled "Flow".
You should check it out if you haven't already.

Yes it's sucks, there is skill that need fundamental from young in order to acquire it.
Still possible though I think except for physical stuff like gymnastics
