A cultural practice with a ritual character that is very typical of ancient cultures; I believe there is none that does not possess it, from the Greek oracles to the Yanomami shamans. In the Caribbean, another practice of consultation and divination, which is not very common in Venezuela, is that of throwing out snails. The Mayas did it with corn grains.
