Shrimp Sinigang | Delicious Filipino Soup
It’s been raining a lot lately here in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. One of the favorite food to eat when it’s raining is soup. It’s great about the Philippines, there are so many options about soup. Soup is like a to go kind of dish. It’s comforting, hot and warm particularly when it’s raining usually the temperature drops a little bit. It’s something that reminds me when my mom used to cook for me when I’m sick. And it’s just makes you like you want to cuddle at home with a thick blanket and just eat some nice hot flavorsome soup.
This is a sour soup sinigang with seafood. My dinner for tonight. What I love about sinigang is the crunchy vegetables and a nice sour broth which will make you cry when you really taste the acidity that kinda make you an ugly face expression. And also I like a little bit of a fatty taste of the seafood.
