I love raw onion for its spiciness. Not only does it have great health benefits, but it really makes certain dishes pop like pico de gallo, chili, salads...etc.

Appreciate the health benefits but not sure if I can do raw onions or onion juice.

About onion, you can use it in your fresh vegetable salad (Carrot, Cocumber, Beet), Chopped fine. Also add some boiled beans and grams in it. Sprinkle some black pepper, lemon juice and salt over it. It will taste good.

yes it's nice in salad. My son can grab an onion and eat it like an apple since he was a baby. And chillies - not me :)

Vegetables have so many good things that you will not need medicines. But we all are careless and ignore simple and cheap things and prefer costly medicines.

No doubt about the benefits of onion. It not only adds taste to your food but also provide so many health benefits.

You could also eat an apple like an onion. Both onions and apples are great sources of quercetin--as is grapefruit. But grapefruit has so much quercetin that it can actually interfere with the way some of your liver's enzymes work.

I never knew all this about onions but I can't eat any food that has no onions in it. So I've been taking healthy meals. Thanks for sharing

Onion is being used by most of the people but you need to be careful if you have acid reflux problem. Onion is not suitable to those people with acid reflux.
